As a Production Support Analyst working as a member of the Information Technology team you will be responsible for providing front-line support for core systems, including underwriting, policy administration, billing, corporate record and claims systems. Responsibilities will include handling business users support requests; trouble-shooting issues, documenting system defects and service requests; performing system testing when necessary. Position will work closely with operations department and system delivery partners.


  • Triaging and troubleshooting system issues to identify root cause
  • Recreating user issues in lower environments to identify root cause and confirm system defects
  • Documenting defects if applicable and assigning to appropriate delivery teams
  • Escalating and following up on system defects and service requests to bring to closure
  • Reviewing and providing guidance on system functionality, rating and forms as a subject matter expert in the product
  • Communicating with Operations team and external MGA partners to share findings on issue reported
  • Developing training materials
  • Coordinating and leading training classes
  • Performing system testing to support monthly maintenance releases
  • Acting as liaison with customer services and delivery partners, leading the effort to prioritize issue and enhancements
  • Mange the scope of monthly system releases and provide support as product SME
  • Provide guidance to business and delivery partners to solve business issues impacted by technology solutions
  • Creating and communicating system status reports
  • Developing business requirements for change requests


  • Experience with Commercial P&C underwriting (submission, rating and policy issuance) systems strongly desired.  Line of business strength in either Property or Casualty rating and forms required.
  • 5+ years previous experience in a customer facing position - internal and external.
  • Experience writing training materials and user guides
  • Experience coordinating and leading end user training classes
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical development teams
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Analytical in nature with attention to details
  • Is a self-starter and is willing to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment   
  • Flexibility and willing to accept change in the workplace
  • Strong coordination skills and sense of urgency required
  • Technical efficiency in end-user computing solutions like MS Office/Excel, etc.
