    Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will participate in an onshore/offshore model responsible for the functional and integration testing of systems to ensure delivery of Quality systems to production. Working individually or, where appropriate, leading a small team of Test Analysts you will deliver functional and integration testing on small, medium, and large projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Planning for and leading all Functional and Integration Testing
    • Thorough analysis of requirements specifications and design documents use structured techniques to identify testable conditions
    • Draft, revise, and execute Functional and Integration test plans and scripts ensuring alignment with standards
    • Create data, conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and /or customer requirements and communicate test results
    • Identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of software quality assurance strategies using automation initiatives
    • Participate in project review meetings. Lead the QA & Testing Management in determining status, assess problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services, IT Solutions functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions
    • Support IT QA Test Lead and Business Analyst Manager in upward stakeholder management and day-to-day management of the QA & Test organization
    • Work closely with all vendors to deliver projects on time, within cost and quality requirements
    • Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions and adopt a logical approach
    • Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
    • Ability to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years hands-on experience as a tester
    • Property & Casualty Insurance knowledge
    • Experience with data warehouse testing
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with test automation tools
    • Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional test phases
    • Practical knowledge of current software testing tools in the market place
    • Ability to work as a team effectively with PSI, vendors, and other stakeholders
    • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
    • Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
    • Good time management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills
    • Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail
    • Experience in the training and development of staff members to develop their skills and maintain industry-leading knowledge in their areas of responsibility
    • Ability to meet high demands of Quality on projects in a timely fashion
    • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
