  • Overview

    The Sales Specialist position is responsible for driving new business development and client retention for the ProSight Brokerage Retail team. The candidate will exhibit demonstrated sales/marketing qualities and a commitment to ProSight's cultural characteristics. 


    • “Get the sale” using various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc.)
    • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
    • Evaluate needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
    • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
    • Attend meetings, sales events and sales/leadership development trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments and prepare for upward mobility within ProSight Brokerage
    • Report and provide feedback to management using financial & statistical data
    • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
    • Execution of Quarterly new business targets in assigned territory for ProSight Brokerage Retail
    • Knowledge of existing ProSight Brokerage Retail programs and staff associated with each
    • Development of new relationships for each assigned program
    • Support and execute new strategies for new programs being released
    • Strategic, long-term planning and innovation of the business


    • BA/BS degree or equivalent
    • 1-3 years of sales experience
    • Self-motivated, driven and coachable
    • Proven track record of sales success
    • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
    • Digital Marketing experience a plus
    • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
