    As the Risk Management Specialist you're at the heart of the SecureFleet 2.0 telematics Unit.  You have the risk management skills to review telematics data, alongside of claim data and identify risk trends that need improve.  You are creative to develop and deliver dynamic and effective risk review presentations to internal and external partners with enthusiasm.   You are a top performer with excellent organizational and analytical skills.  You understand the key role technology plays in loss control and risk mitigation for policy holders.  You have the ability to analyze data received from multiple sources and communicate recommendations with persuasiveness.  In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the risk management skills to implement the telematics visions, operating plan and strategy.  You thrive in our fast-paced environment, embrace challenges and are flexible enough to be successful in a dynamic and growing organization.  

     

    Responsibilities

    • Supports the telematics program through the identification of risks utilizing telematics, artificial intelligence and claim data.
    • Partners with Value Creation Executives to market telematic program within relevant niches.
    • Performs risk analysis of data and metrics with an outcome focused on improved driver and fleet safety.
    • Supports the safety and risk mitigation goals through the development of relevant KPI’s, safety scoring and appropriate cadence of analysis and trending.
    • Develops targeted training programs and risk control suggestions in correlation with loss control, claims and underwriting.
    • Develops time tables for safety deliverables alongside of customers and our internal UW team.
    • Conducts risk reviews for all SecureFleet customers which highlights the top priorities in risk control.
    • Supports business priority and urgency while balancing quality, value and long term objectives.
    • Develops and delivers dynamic and effective risk assessments to customers and stakeholders that enhance safety buy in and awareness
    • Leads discussion with customers and stakeholders on driver and fleet performance

    Qualifications

    • Five to eight years of experience in loss control required, specific to transportation preferred
    • Deep knowledge and progressive experience in telematics and / or connected technology required
    • Progressive experienced focused on risk mitigation and driver/ fleet safety.
    • Strong experience and focus on customer service, with a passion for balance customer and business needs.
    • Experienced in developing interactive safety training, supporting materials and implementation of the same.
    • Proven ability to influence business partners across the organization to successful outcomes.
    • Result orientated, self-starter with strong focus on meeting and exceeding individual goals.
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and keen eye for details.
    • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s degree required, in risk management preferred.
    • Smith System certification is preferred
    • ARM and CPCU certifications are required
    • Expertise in Federal DOT and OSHA regulations are strongly preferred.
