    ProSight’s fast paced and dynamic Claims Department is looking for a highly motivated professional to join our Special Investigations team as an inside Investigator. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter who embraces challenge and acts with sense of urgency. Our ideal candidate has claims handling experience with a highly recommended background in SIU. We are seeking a creative and motivated individual who is adaptable to a growing and changing environment. ProSight is an industry leader in areas such as media and entertainment, transportation, excess workers compensation, construction, energy, ocean marine and commercial property.

    Responsibilities

    • Investigate complex, multi-line commercial claims
    • Collaborate with claims staff to help to identify questionable.
    •  Provide training to the claims staff, agents, brokers, underwriting, premium audit and external representatives in law enforcement and state fraud bureaus.
    •  Assign and monitor outside agencies utilized for field work, surveillance and medical searches as needed.
    •  Assist the SIU Manager in the evaluation of vendors utilized by SIU to include law firms, surveillance and investigative companies for cost and quality of work.
    •  Has the ability to interact with brokers, insured’s and underwriters as business dictates to make sure we are delivering quality investigative services and tailoring our approach to meet the needs of all customers.
    •  Maintain a diary system for claims assigned to ensure claim handling and customer service meet acceptable standards.
    •  Develop a creative approach in problem solving and contribute individually as well as part of a team.
    •  Completes timely and high quality reports and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.
    •  Work with the SIU Manager on specific projects as needed.
    •  Attend industry seminars, meetings and initiate self- learning on current trends and topics related to insurance fraud
    •  Works with subscription data bases including SIU Case Manager, TLO, Decision NET and ISO
    •  Perform other tasks and duties within the claims department as dictated by business needs or by direction of the SIU Manager.

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years’ experience investigating multi-line insurance investigations in various jurisdictions.
    • Outstanding investigative and interview skills required
    •  Knowledge and understanding of insurance coverage
    •  Computer skills
    •  Detail oriented
    •  Excellent time management skills
    •  Exceptional organizational skills
    •  Ability to adapt in a changing environment
    •  Knowledge of online and social media tools
    •  Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
    •  Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
    •  Four year college degree preferred
