    This varied and dynamic career path will work with both the Claims Management team and the individual adjusters to provide support for the overall investigation and resolution of reported claims.  The individual should have excellent organizational skills and communication skills as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have the sense of urgency and passion to take charge of their career with optimism and determination.   This position will coordinate with not only the entire Claims Department but other Departments within the Company.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide assistance to Claims staff and support to our customers
    • Coordinate New Losses and assignment to Individual Adjusters
    • Coordinate claim check processing on a daily basis and secure appropriate signatures
    • Point person for the subrogation check allocation process for in house and TPAs
    • Coordinate and Monitor the Reporting of Claims to the Centers for Medicare Services and coordinate with Vendor
    • Assist in Obtaining Complete Policy Information Upon Receipt of New Claims
    • Work with IT and other Company Personnel with Data Reporting and System Fixes/Upgrades
    • Complete monthly quality reviews for the Claim Operations team to comply with audit requirements
    • Compile monthly data for the claims management team to review following closing dates
    • Work with finance regularly to comply with the current escheatment policy in place by state
    • Send weekly reports to claims management on any payments issued the week prior for review
    • Payment of Vendor Invoices as well as Management of Vendor System and Coordination of 1099 Reporting with the Finance Department
    • Provide backup support to other team members when out of the office
    • Assist with Other Special Projects as Necessary

    Qualifications

    • College degree preferred but not require
    • Prior claims experience or other general business experience a plus
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
    • Solid planning & organizational skills including time-management and prioritization.
    • Analytical skills to identify, gather, and organize information
    • Customer focused attitude and skills to resolve inquiries quickly and effectively.
    • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
